Instructions for viewing PDF files

Some documents are saved as PDF files and may be viewed and/or printed from any platform that has Adobe Acrobat Reader software (free from Adobe Systems, Inc.) installed and configured for use with your browser.

Note: For faster viewing of large Acrobat files, save the file to your system first (right-click on the link and select save target as) then open it in the reader outside of your browser.

To view PDF files you must first download Acrobat Reader Software for your particular platform. Click on the image below to begin the installation process and follow Adobe's instructions. We suggest at least version 7.0 of Adobe Reader. Adobe Reader is made and distributed by Adobe Systems Incorporated and is thus not supported or indorsed by the City of Lancaster.  Once you've downloaded and installed the reader you can automatically view any PDF format document that may be included on City of Lancaster, Ohio web pages.
