City
and Lancaster Port Authority Applying for Cleanup Grants for
Former Frick-Gallagher Property
The
City of Lancaster and the Lancaster Port Authority are
applying for a $1,477,238 Clean Ohio Revitalization Fund (CORF)
grant and a $200,000 U.S. EPA Cleanup grant (EPA),
respectively, to help support the cleanup and redevelopment
of 5.08 acres of property located at 330 S. Ewing St. in
Lancaster for the future development of the Former
Frick-Gallagher Property. The CORF application is
available for review beginning July 21, 2010, at the
Fairfield County District
Library – Main Library, 219 N. Broad St., Lancaster.
A draft of the EPA grant application is available for review
beginning September 3, 2010 at the offices of the Lancaster
Port Authority, 1424 Camp Ground Road, Lancaster, Ohio.
A public meeting on these grant applications is
scheduled for 6 p.m. on Tuesday, September 7, 2010, at the
Lancaster City Hall, Basement Conference Room, 104 E.
Main St., Lancaster. Public
