The Department of Engineering
provides Civil Engineering assistance to the other City
departments, builders, developers and the general public.
The Department's activities can be divided into five main areas
of responsibility, as listed below:

Attention:
As of January 1, 2005 the primary responsibility for
administration of the City's Zoning Code and Residential
Building Inspection program shifted to the City's Certified
Building Department. The Department of Engineering will
assist them for a transitional period, but the primary contact
for these matters needs to be the Building Department.
