Geny serves as an assistant prosecutor for the City of Lancaster.
Her responsibilities include prosecuting traffic, criminal and
family violence cases. She also meets with law enforcement officers
and reviews intakes.

Professional Affiliations
Geny is a member of the Ohio State Bar Association. Geny is also
a member of the Fairfield County Bar Association where she is
involved with the criminal subcommittee.
Education
Geny graduated from the Duquesne University School of Law,
Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania with her Juris Doctor in 2004. She
graduated from the University of Dayton with her Bachelors of
Science in Business Administration in 2001, where she was an officer
of the Golden Key National Honor Society and participated in the
President’s Scholars Program.
Community Involvement
Geny is a member of the United Way Corporate Committee and works
with the American Red Cross to organize local blood drives for the
City. She is currently involved with the Big Brothers and Sisters
program and has a little sister at General Sherman. Geny volunteers
her time at the annual Shoots N’ Ladders tournament to help with the
City’s effort to raise money for the American Heart Association.
Geny was also a committee member for the American Business Women’s
Association’s Spring Fashion Show in 2007. In addition Geny was a
participant in the 2006 Fairfield County Pro-Bono Clinic. |
