The Detective Bureau is the second largest subdivision of the department with twelve personnel assigned. The Detective Bureau is responsible for investigating all major cases, felonies, and selected misdemeanor offenses. They also operate the Crime Search Unit, which is responsible for gathering and preserving evidence at the scenes of serious felonies and major offenses. The Detective Bureau Supervisor - Sgt.
