We have been receiving a lot of questions about the food truck permitting process for downtown events. Please note that Destination Downtown Lancaster does not oversee this process. The City has various factors that are used to determine permits, the most important of which is relying on the Fairfield County Health Department's health and safety inspection process for food trucks. We review both the initial operating permit and the ongoing inspections that take place as the food truck is in actual operations at a site.
