Notice of Funds Available
The City of Lancaster’s Community Development Department anticipates receiving an allocation of Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds issued by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) for use in fiscal year (FY) 2023 which commences on September 1, 2023.

Community Development Champion Award - Bob Sulick

We would like to recognize Bob Sulick as our Community Development Champion for everything he has done for our department and community. Bob stepping up to lead our Lead Hazard Control Program has allowed us to do so much more to help the community.

Mission Statement
The mission of the City of Lancaster - Community Development Department is to:
Design, implement and administer the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) and related programs in response to community needs.
Expand affordable housing through planning, coordinating and monitoring of housing programs on an interagency basis.
Insure housing accessibility for all through the promotion of Fair Housing standards.
Promote Economic Development.
Seek funding from federal, state and private sources to implement programs within the City of Lancaster, in the interest of creating a better community.
