The LCPAAA was formed to bring together graduates of the Lancaster Citizen Police Academy together to improve relations between the police department and the civilian community in all phases of law enforcement activities, and to further the goals and objectives of the Lancaster Police Department.
Upon successful graduation from the Citizen Police Academy, students are encouraged to join the Lancaster Citizen Police Academy Alumni Association (LCPAAA). The LCPAAA is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting the community and the Lancaster Police Department through volunteer community service.
LCPAAA members have repeatedly answered the call for service to the police department and the Lancaster area community. In 2014, LCPAAA members donated over 200 hours of volunteer time. Some of the programs and public appearances of the LCPAAA members include:
