Nature Education Activities

The programs available are designed to meet the needs of your group. Field trips are offered all year for schools, 4H groups, boy and girl scout troops and other groups. For more information and bookings,

Women & Power Tools - Morning & Afternoon Classes available

 Morning Class - 9am - noon      Afternoon Class - 1-4pm
Learn to run and use power tools to make a take home shadow box.   Did you receive a power tool for Christmas, but aren't quite sure how to use it?   Bring it along, and learn together!
$10.00 per person for class supplies.      Limited space available.

Hoot of a Time - Family Program

Also, held on Saturday, February 16th.   5-9pm.   Join outdoor education staff for a fun evening cooking over the campfire, learning about owls and digging into an owl pellet, and going on an owl night hike.   Cost is $5.00 per person for supplies.   Please register, so that we will have enough supplies on hand, by email:  OR calling 740-681-5025.

Preschoolers in the Park

 This program is designed for preschoolers ages 2-6 years old and their special adult.   Each Friday morning includes a lesson, craft, hike and/or game, songs, and more based on the nature theme of the day.   Come out one day or for a five week session.   Session One:
