The Friends of Lancaster Parks and Recreation is a non-profit, 501c3 organization established to maintain an association of persons interested in parks and recreation.  It is our mission to: to support, promote, and encourage park and recreation services, activities and facilities and to focus public attention to the needs of Lancaster Parks and Recreation; to encourage gifts and endowments to the Organization. 

Over the past few years, these projects have included funding and signage for the past park tax levies, fundraisers (pancake breakfast, 5K run, etc.), funding the Alley Park Sugar Shack, improvements to park shelter houses and playground equipment, providing computers to the Parks administrative office, and sending under privileged children to park programs.

We as the Friends of Lancaster Parks and Recreation look forward to working with you to provide extra value and support to our local parks!
