COVID-19 Update

City Council is scheduled to vote on the Timbertop Rezoning on March 23, 2020.  See  the letter on the changes to City Council for more information.

On October 3, 2019 Mithoff Co. submitted an application for rezoning 76.887 acres on North Columbus Street know locally as Timbertop.  The property is currently located in Greenfield Township and the rezoning is being done in conjunction with an annexation request.  Under Ohio Law, a property annexed retains it's township zoning until the Municipality zones the property.

The proposed zoning includes Neighborhood Commercial (blue and yellow zones), General Commercial (peach zone), Multifamily Residential-2 (pink zone) and Single Family Residential 3 (green zones)

Lancaster City Planning Commission has recommended approval of the rezoning and will submit their recommendation to City Council.  City Council will hold a public hearing on the application on January 13, 2020 at 6:30 pm at City Council Chambers.
