AmeriCorps VISTA Opportunity - 2023

AmeriCorps connects individuals and organizations through service and volunteering to tackle the nation’s most pressing challenges.

VISTA Members are full-time volunteers that serve at non-profit organizations and public agencies. Members focus their efforts on building organizational, administrative, and financial capacity within those organizations and agencies.

VISTA Members develop programs to meet various needs. They do not provide direct service, which is defined as the act of providing services to the identified clients of a program. For general information about AmeriCorps VISTA, click here. 

AmeriCorps VISTA is a one-year full-time service opportunity for adults of all ages and backgrounds:
  • who want to apply their hard-earned knowledge to make an impact in a new environment
  • to give their time and talent to strengthen communities
  • who want to build new skillsets they can take with them wherever they go and are enthusiastic about making a difference in communities of need

Be a part of our exciting, expanding Community Development office, connecting us with residents, recruiting volunteers, promoting affordable housing, and more. You can make a difference in our town!
