WHILEY ROAD WATER LINE LOOP PROJECT

The Whiley Road Water Line Loop will address water needs in the U.S. 33 Service Area. The 1,380 Linear Feet of 16 inch waterline will provide a second feed to the west side of U.S. 33 and the Mount Zion Water tank. The line will improve reliability to the area by increasing flows for domestic and process water needs along with increased flow and pressure for firefighting needs.

On October 27, 2021 Governor Mike DeWine attended the groundbreaking ceremony to announce that the City was awarded a $950,000 grant from the State of Ohio Builds Water Infrastucture Program for the project.

M Campbell Construction is the contractor and Burgess and Niple is the Design Engineer for the project which is expected to be completed in April 2022.
