Foreclosure Prevention


The City of Lancaster Community Development Department provides funding to reduce financial pressure for low- and moderate-income households as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, through foreclosure counseling and mortgage payment assistance. 

Eligibility

  • Be the owner and occupant of a single family dwelling unit within the incorporated area of the city of Lancaster.
  • Be experiencing financial hardship due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Income Guidelines

The City of Lancaster's Foreclosure Prevention Program is financed through funding from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development CARES Act/ CDBG-CV.
