With ever evolving regulations, the Environmental Engineer's job is to assist the departments with compliance and provide guidance and expertise.  In addition, the Environmental Engineer acts and project manager for City departments on planning, design and construction projects.  Although primarily working with the Sanitation, Stormwater, Water and Water Pollution Control Departments, the Environmental Engineer also provides expertise to the Building Department, Zoning and Planning, Economic Development, Community Development and other areas where required.
