The City of Lancaster has been allocated funds through the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) to prevent, prepare for, and respond to the coronavirus (COVID-19).  A portion of these funds are being used for assistance to non-profit organizations to recover from shortfalls in revenue during 2020 and 2021 due to the coronavirus.

Eligibility:

• 501(c)(3) non-profit based in the City of Lancaster's municipal boundaries
• Primarily serve Lancaster residents
• Negative financial impact due to COVID-19
• Preference for organizations that were:
  • Closed down
  • Had reduced revenue from fundraisers
  • Did not receive other sources of COVID-related financial assistance 

Funding Available:

• Grants up to $10,000
• Can be used for operating costs
• Funding may be less than requested - this is determined by review of the application

How to Apply:

A completed application includes:

• Narrative
• Budget
• Financial information from 2018-2021
• 501(c)(3) letter

Decisions will be made on a monthly basis.  Applications that are submitted by the third Friday will be notified of decisions on the first Thursday of the following month.
