On April 7, 2022 222 South Broad Street Corporation, submitted an application for rezoning 4.083 acres of vacant land located at the southeast corner of South Broad Street and Canal Street.
The property is currently zoned Heavy Industrial (IH), but the petitioner has proposed to change the zoning to Commercial General (CG).
The first step for this zoning change request is for it to go beforeLancaster City Planning Commission. Once Planning Commission makes its recommendation, that recommendation, along with the application, will be forwarded to City Council for consideration. Once City Council has conducted their public hearing, they have the ability to vote on the application.
