Don McDaniel:At Large Representative
Don McDaniel is a native of Lancaster,
Ohio and graduated from Lancaster High School in 1980. Following High School, he served for four
years in the United States Marine Corps.
Don is a thirty-year veteran of the Lancaster
Police Department. During his career at
LPD, he worked in various assignments and positions. He served his final two-plus years as Chief
of Police.
Don has been involved in the Lancaster
community, coaching girls’ softball for many years. He also coached biddy basketball
at Tarhe Elementary School for ten years. He is a member of Lancaster Rotary. And he currently serves as a member
of the Salvation Army Board.
Don most recently worked for the Lancaster
Parks and Recreation Department, as the Supervisor of Recreation Services. His duties included managing both Tiki and Miller swimming pools and managing all the recreation programs and programming.
Don and his wife Tracey, have four adult
children and three grandchildren. They have been married for thirty-three years and attend St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church.
